Rum truffles, 20 pieces

Delicious and particularly suitable for individuals with obesity, after surgery and in wound healing.

Ingredients

1 can       Chickpeas
2 tbsp     Lemon juice
300 g       Dates
2 tsp       Rum flavoring, Dr. Oetker
1 dl         Oat flakes
30 g        Cocoa powder
60 g        Adozan Protein+
1 pinch   Salt

40 g Coconut shavings for coating

Tip: Leaving some of the truffles uncoated looks even more attractive.

Instructions

  1. Pour the chickpeas in a sieve and leave to drain
  2. Mix all ingredients with the blender
  3. Add a little bit of water if necessary (not too much – the mix should be moldable!)
  4. If required add sweetener to taste
  5. Divide into 20 equal shares and form the truffles
  6. Coat the truffles in the coconut shavings
  7. Place them in the fridge for 1 hour minimum

Keeps in the fridge up to 5 days.
